Creative Europe MEDIA @ EFM – Programm 

Selbstverständlich ist MEDIA auch in diesem Jahr auf der Berlinale vertreten – auf, hinter und neben der großen Leinwand. Besonders erfreulich: Mit No Good Men trägt auch der diesjährige Eröffnungsfilm das MEDIA Logo in seinen Credits. Der Film von Shahrbanoo Sadat erhielt im Förderjahr 2023 die Co-Development-Förderung. Hier gibt es einen kompakten Überblick über die MEDIA geförderten Filme auf der Berlinale.

Präsentierte Projekte: 

- Digital agent  "Within this project, our consortium suggests the conceptualization and first implementation of a cross-sectoral, digitised, scalable and affordable management service for artists and technical personnel within the audio-visual and other creative sectors."

- Illumina Twin "Illumina Twin is a software solution for film production to improve the quality and efficiency of the workflow in virtual movie studios. In a classic virtual studio, the mapping of the light works like a semi-transparent mirror: the light shines from the virtual backdrop into the real set, yet the light from the real set is not continued into the virtual set. With IlluminaTwin, the semi-transparent mirror becomes a window that transmits light in both directions in real time. Our hardware agnostic tool will capture real lighting conditions on a film set and recreate them in real time on the LED wall."

- Unlock The Community 2: AI & Big Data Edition  "Mass marketing has failed. European film and live entertainment companies need to find more sustainable ways to drive revenue. We believe they need to build a community of fans and go 'direct-to-consumer'. Pioneered by great companies like A24, we want to productise such innovation to drive adoption, save jobs and spread European culture."

- Gamebook PIC Platform "The Gamebook PIC Platform is a web-based, AI-powered, data-driven platform to promote Intellectual and Cultural Property in the creative industries with Promotional Interactive Content (PIC). The platform targets users across creative sectors including book publishing, film, toys & games, museums, broadcasting, performing arts, and advertising. The project’s objective is to help these sectors grow their audiences and extend their traditional value chains with interactive Promotion-as-a-Service activities across all major digital platforms, social channels, and languages."
